🍎Fruit of the Spirit Spotted at SPCS!🍓
Our September Fruit of the Spirit recipients are here!
Students at SPCS have been working hard all month to show actions and words that reflect the Fruits of the Spirit. This month, we are proud to recognize Eli Valley from the Upper Building and Amiiyah Runice from the Lower Building for shining brightly with God’s characteristics.
✨ Amiiyah displayed the Fruit of Joy : "The joy of the Lord is your strength" 1 Nehemiah 8:10
✨ Eli displayed the Fruit of Self-Control : "God gave us a spirit of power, love, & self-control" 2 Timothy 1:7
Way to shine for Jesus, you two!!

In November of 1874, Mother Vincent Hennessy and her three companions from Mooncoin, Ireland, arrived in Dubuque, IA, to begin educating Catholic youngsters in the area.
Eleven years later, in 1885, another group of Presentation Sisters journeyed to Northeast IA to open St. Patrick School in Waukon for those Irish youth.
To honor the Sisters of the Presentation's 150 years of educational service, following 10am student Mass on Friday, September 26, Presentation Sisters, St. Patrick parishioners, and school students will gather to plant a tree in the St. Patrick School yard playground.
The planting and blessing of the tree is a key aspect of the Sisters' 150 Years Celebration. The Sisters hope to plant 150 trees in schoolyards and on parish grounds where Presentations once lived and interacted with students and their families.

God is always with us!

Afternoon Latchkey will be at the upper building playground until further notice due to the lower building playground demolition and installation. Thank you!
