📚 History Came to Life at Fort Atkinson! 🏕️
Our 4th & 5th grade students had an incredible day at Fort Atkinson Rendezvous School Days! They stepped back in time and experienced history through hands-on learning at a variety of stations.
Students learned about the history of Fort Atkinson and the surrounding area, Native American tribes who lived in the region, frontier life, and what a Rendezvous was all about. They also got to experience some exciting demonstrations, including watching the cannon fire, seeing tomahawk/ax throwing, and exploring many other aspects of life in the 1840s.
A big thank-you to everyone who makes Fort Atkinson Rendezvous possible each year! The 50th annual Rendezvous continues this weekend, September 26–27.

This year, our 5th graders are taking on a very special role as Faith Friends to our 4K students! Throughout the school year, our oldest Wildcats will have the opportunity to lead, serve, encourage, pray with, and learn alongside their younger partners. 💚
Being a Big Wildcat is about more than simply being a buddy. It is about showing our youngest students what it means to live our faith, care for others, make good choices, and be a light for those around us. ✝️
Our 5th graders may not realize just how much their words, kindness, patience, and example can impact a younger student. Every smile, helping hand, prayer, and moment of encouragement is an opportunity to make a lasting difference.
From the youngest to the oldest, we are one Wildcat family.

💙 Happy Birthday to our Blessed Mother, Mary! 💙
Today, our classrooms took time to celebrate the birthday of Mary, the Mother of Jesus and our heavenly mother.
Throughout the school, students celebrated Mary in their classrooms by praying the Rosary, singing “Happy Birthday” to Mary, and giving thanks for her loving example and intercession. 🙏🎶
These simple moments of prayer and celebration remind our students that Mary is always pointing us toward her Son, Jesus. May she continue to guide our school family and help us grow in faith, kindness, and love.

Reminder: our first St. Pat's school Mass of the 2026-27 school year is TOMORROW!
Beginning this school year, St. Pat's weekly school Mass has moved to Wednesday mornings at 9:00 AM as part of the Archdiocese of Dubuque's Journey in Faith initiative. All are welcome to join us each week as we celebrate our Catholic faith together! This week's Mass is led by school staff.
