He is risen! ✝️✨
Today we celebrate the joy and hope of Easter—the promise of new life through Christ. Our school community is filled with gratitude as we reflect on His love and the light He brings into our hearts each day.
Wishing all of our families a blessed and joyful Easter!

Our 5th grade students did a beautiful job sharing the Stations of the Cross with our school family and community members. They brought to life the powerful journey of Jesus and reminded us all of the true meaning of Easter, the ultimate sacrifice made out of love for each one of us. We are so proud of the way our students led us in prayer and reflection during this special Lenten tradition.
As we continue through Holy Week, we reflect on Holy Tuesday and Spy Wednesday, this week call us to examine our hearts, remain faithful, and remember the moments leading up to Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice. Remembering the importance of trust, humility, and staying close to Christ in all we do. May we carry this message in our hearts, remembering that through His suffering comes the promise of hope, love, and new life. ✝️💜

🌿 Happy Holy Week from SPCS 🌿
Holy Week, is a special time in the Church where we remember Jesus’ journey to the Cross and His love for us.
Palm Sunday reminds us of the day Jesus entered Jerusalem, welcomed by crowds waving palm branches and shouting “Hosanna!” It’s a celebration of joy, faith, and recognizing Jesus as our King. Encourage your children to think about how they can welcome Jesus into their hearts this week.
Holy Monday invites us to reflect on Jesus’ teachings and His care for others. Even in the smallest acts of kindness, we can show love just as He did.

✝️Today our students participated in a meaningful and educational Lenten Retreat, rotating through five different group experiences. Each station offered a unique opportunity for prayer, reflection, and connection, helping students grow in their faith throughout this Lenten season. We’re grateful for this special time to pause, reflect, and journey together. 💜

Reminder: St. Patrick’s Day Parade - Sunday, March 22 at 1:00 PM.
SPCS will still have a float, and students are invited to ride and show their school spirit! ☘️
📍 Meet: SPCS School Parking Lot
🕒 Time: Please arrive by 12:30 PM
🎉 Parade Begins: 1:00 PM, departing from WW Homestead Dairy
Our float will not travel the entire parade route. Instead, it will return to the SPCS school parking lot, where students will need to be picked up by a parent/guardian. Since we are the first float in the parade, many families enjoy having their students ride the float and then stay to watch the rest of the parade.
Because students will return before the parade ends, we encourage parents to stay nearby so pickup can happen promptly.
✅ Please complete the Google Form or return the paper permission slip that was sent home.

🍀 Celebrating St. Patrick, Patron Saint of Our Church

Today we celebrate our patron saint, St. Patrick! 🍀
At SPCS, we feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have such amazing families, students, and staff who make our school so special. St. Patrick’s life reminds us of the importance of faith, courage, and sharing God’s love with others. He showed us how to pray deeply, serve selflessly, and live with purpose. As we reflect on his mission, we are reminded of our own calling to continue Learning, Loving, and Lighting the Way. ✨
Today was a joyful celebration filled with faith, friends, and fun as we honored St. Patrick and the spirit he inspires in our school community.

Fruit of the Spirit Spotted at SPCS! ❤️
Our February Fruit of the Spirit recipients are here!
Throughout the month, students at SPCS worked hard to show words and actions that reflect the Fruits of the Spirit. This month we focused on the Fruit of the Spirit: Love, showing kindness, care, and compassion to others just as Jesus teaches us.
We are excited to recognize Hadley and Isla for the wonderful ways they demonstrated God’s characteristics in our school community.
✨Hadley Regan
✨Isla Dougherty
By showing LOVE both students helped share God’s love with our SPCS family.
Way to shine for Jesus, Isla & Hadley! We are so proud of you! ✝️🌟

🍎National School Breakfast Week! 🥣
A healthy breakfast helps our students start the day focused, energized, and ready to learn. We are grateful to provide breakfast each morning so our students can begin their day nourished in both body and mind.
Have your child join us this week as we celebrate the importance of starting the school day well!

Oh, the places we went in just one day!
With a Cat in a Hat who came out to play! 🎩
Students in every grade gathered near
To listen to stories we all hold dear.
Giggles, rhymes, and reading fun —
A Seuss-tastic day for everyone!
